Resources to make it easier to choose the right medical plan

You now have access to Emma, bswift’s virtual assistant. Emma asks you a few simple questions… and then suggests medical plan options – along with their costs – based on what you tell her.

Together with Aetna, we’ll hold annual enrollment meetings. You can attend virtually or view a recorded session based on your schedule.

HSA contribution limit increases

If you enroll in Healthy Plus, the total you and Jabil can contribute (combined) to an HSA, if eligible, is increasing to $4,150 for single coverage; $8,300 for family coverage. If you’re 55 or older, you can contribute up to $1,000 more. Note: If you or your spouse earns a Virgin Pulse wellness incentive, that’s included in these totals, too.

Healthcare FSA contribution limit increases

If you enroll in the Healthcare FSA or Limited Purpose Healthcare FSA, your contribution limit is increasing to $3,050. Save more by taking advantage of this increased limit for using pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible healthcare expenses while reducing more of your taxable income.

Commuter benefits limit increases

How much pre-tax money you can set aside for commuting expenses is increasing. In 2024, you can contribute up to $300 each month for eligible mass transit expenses and up to $300 each month for eligible parking expenses.

MetLife to administer Life, Disability and Voluntary Benefits

To bring you a better benefits experience, MetLife will administer these benefits and voluntary policies:

  • Life Insurance
  • Disability Insurance
  • Hospital Indemnity*
  • Accident Insurance*
  • Critical Illness*
  • Legal Services*
  • Pet Insurance*

* These benefits are not sponsored by Jabil and are not part of our welfare plan.

Critical Illness and Pet Insurance enrollment

Your current Critical Illness elections for employee and spouse coverage transfer to MetLife automatically. But there are some differences from the current coverage, so you may need to take action.

For you: With MetLife, you can choose from more coverage levels than Unum: $10,000, $20,000 and $30,000. If you currently have coverage, you’ll automatically be enrolled for $20,000. But if you want $10,000 or $30,000, you’ll need to enroll.

For your children: MetLife includes free coverage for your children (up to age 26) with your employee coverage – but only if your children are in the Jabil Benefits Service Center system. If your children are not currently covered by another Jabil plan (e.g., medical), you’ll need to add them as a dependent during enrollment if you want this coverage.

Note:

  • Rates may increase during the year, based on age.
  • Coverage is no longer reduced at age 70. This means if you don’t make a change, you’ll automatically have $20,000 of employee coverage, which may increase your payroll deductions.

Learn more about this and other MetLife Critical Illness polices through the Jabil Benefits Service Center in the Resource Library.

For Pet Insurance, you need to enroll, and you’ll pay MetLife directly for this coverage, not through payroll deductions.

Enrolling in Healthy Plus with HSA?

  • Enter your contribution amount if you want to contribute to your HSA. If you don’t want to contribute BUT you want Jabil’s contribution, don’t waive coverage – set your contribution amount to $0.
  • Register with WEX, Jabil’s HSA administrator, and accept the terms and conditions for access to your HSA and to receive Jabil’s contributions to your account.
  • After enrollment, watch for an email from WEX, as you may need to verify your identity (like you do with any bank account). Check your spam/junk/clutter.
